A Prayer About Self-Esteem

Dear Lord,
It really is presumptuous of me to think of myself as worthless when You considered me good enough to sacrifice Your Son for me.
My negative attitude toward myself shows a lack of appreciation for, and trust in, your sacrifices, and distrust in that immeasurable, unspeakable power that sacrifice holds within it to purify me from my sins.
My attitude is actually an insult to You, and a sin.  And I've been consistently committing this sin for many years.  I ask Your forgiveness, Lord, for the lack of trust in You this demonstrates.
Please forgive me for all the time I've wasted because of my fears and all the unclaimed opportunities I've had to serve you with my abilities and talents and personality.
Help me to realize my full potential in You.  Please take this empty space in me that used to be filled with fear, anxiety, and distrust of Your power, and fill it with confidence in You and confidence in myself because of Your Spirit living in me.
Thank You, Lord, for the good things about me, the things You created in me.  Please help me recognize these things and develop them to the greatest possible degree.
Show me all the best, most creative ways to use the gifts You've given me.  Help me always to use them for You and always to give You the credit for anything I may accomplish.
I praise You, God, for Your greatness--for Your power to create, for Your perfect judgment, and for Your love so great it's beyond my understanding.
I love You because You love me so much, even the dark side of me.
