Help for Search

The search feature in TalkTools is easy to use!

Simply type a word or phrase in the Search Text box, then click the blue search button. A list of resources which contain your search criteria will be displayed, and in each record you will see your search criteria highlighted in red .

This search feature is limited to a simple search phrase. For example, if you enter going on a journey as a search phrase, it will only find resources containing that exact phrase. Therefore, keep your search phrase as simple as possible.

Use the Search Author search box to look for material by a specific author. The Search Text function will search the text and titles in the database, but not the author.

You can use Search Category to list all items in a particular category. Just select the category you want and hit the blue search button.

If you encounter any difficulties with the search feature, please notify us by putting a note in the Suggestion Box.
