STORIES An Extra DimeOne Sunday an evangelist preached with great zeal on the importance of honesty in every aspect of life. The next morning he boarded a bus and gave the driver a dollar bill for his fare. Counting his change, he found that he had received an extra dime. As he took a seat he thought, It’s only a dime, I’ll just keep it. As the bus approached his destination, the evangelist’s conscience wouldn’t allow him to keep the dime. Before getting off the bus, he handed the dime to the driver and said, “You accidentally gave me too much change.” "It wasn’t an accident," the driver said. "Last night I heard your sermon. When I saw you getting on the bus I wanted to see if you practiced what you preached."
