A naval aircraft carrier was training young men during the war. Each one would fly up and try to shoot down a Japanese plane, then return to the carrier. A proud young whippersnapper bragged his way into the plane, went up in the air, shot down 5 Japanese planes, and came down again.

He got out of the plane and said "Now tell me, ain't I the best dogfighter you ever seen?"

A Japanese officer came up and said "Ah, so, you velly good pilot, but you make-a one small mistake."
