A man once came to Charles Spurgeon and said, "I didn't have a single person come forward at the invitation in church yesterday.  What am I doing wrong?" 

Spurgeon replied, "Do you expect someone to come forward every time you preach?" 

"No," said the man. 

Spurgeon said, "That's your problem."
